Happy 4th of July

We went to the Bertke's house to celebrate the 4th and had a great time. The boys and Madelyn (not our Madelyn, one of Xavier's friends) had fun in the pool, even though the rain cut it short. Meanwhile our Madelyn slept peacefully, she is such a calm little girl. She is on a great schedule during the day and we are getting closer to sleeping through the night (with about 3 nights of sleeping through and 3-4 not). Below is one of our favorite pictures of her wide awake, which is still only about 1 1/2 hours at a time.
Nolan loved the watermelon, stuffing whole pieces in his mouth and the juices running down his belly. Liz cooked a delicious meal and we enjoyed everyone's company. The night ended with a great fireworks show and Nolan just loved it: he would point at them and squeal with excitement. Madelyn just laid in Mommy's arms while we sat and watched. Mommy let the camera battery die, so Liz took some pictures for us on their camera. So we will try to show them later.
