This is our third year of going to the Polaris Mall and having a picture taken with Santa. This is a tradition that Chris really wanted to start, but unfortunately did not do it Nolan's first Christmas. Madelyn had met Santa twice before this visit, so she had warmed up a little but did not flash her sweet smile, but at least she was not sucking her thumb out of fear or tiredness. Nolan loves Santa and has no issue sitting on his lap, he takes a little warming up before he will whisper a gift or two that he would like for Santa to bring. The line was not as long as last year, so that made Mom happy and having the pictures to look at each year is nice.
