Poultry Days

Last weekend Chris headed to Cleveland for a guys weekend, so I took the kids back home. It was Poultry Days, our hometown festival, so everyone but Jason's family was home. It was great hanging out with everyone. We took the kids to the parade on Saturday morning, which was a huge hit. (thanks to the Brands/Reeds for saving seats for us) Mimi kept Madelyn occupied with food, and she had no compliants. Nolan seemed to really like the floats and all of the activity around him. Nolan did pee outside for the first time, no bathrooms available near the parade route so the bushes near the bank was our best option! Thanks to Grandpa and Mimi for hosting us and babysitting for different parts of the weekend. We are looking forward to our next visit back home.
