Countryfest

In addition to the Broerman Summer Party, the Countryfest in Marion Stein was going on. It is a great family event with a lot of entertainment. My godfather is in the tractor square dancing, which was a huge hit as always (video below). We headed to the tent due to the ran and ended up signing Madelyn up to be in the diaper derby, I guess being a late walker had an advantage. Out of the gate Madelyn took off a head of her heat, but decided to turn back around toward Mommy. We ended up racing against Alivia Beasley- Evan was in a different heat! Braxton went on a car ride, but Nolan did want anything to do with the rides. Instead he wanted to go down the huge slide. We are still unsure if he was crying or laughing, but he wanted to go again so we think it was a good sign. After eating "fair food" and seeing some tractors, we headed home with two very tired kids! Thanks to Mimi and Grandpa for showing us around and hanging out all day.
