We just got back from our family vacation with our mimi, grandpa, aunts, uncles and cousins from the Broerman side. We stayed in Duck which is part of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. The first two days were a little windy, which meant chilly in the pool. But then things turned around and we had perfect weather for going to the beach which was just a few steps away. The kids really enjoyed the pool and hot tub (esp on cold days). Each night a different family cooked and our ribs were a hit. 3 of the nights the families provided enterainment, which was a ton of fun! This was the first year that we drove home during the day on Saturday instead of leaving and driving through the night on Friday. The kids did pretty well considering the long trip- 1o hours, but about 12 with stops on the way home. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for paying for the fabulous house this year!
