Opening Day

It is an annual tradition that Chris takes the kids to the Reds' Opening Day. This is Nolan's 4th year and Madelyn's 2nd year attending and it is extra special because Uncle Brian and Aunt Stephanie join them to make the event successful. This year Chris shared that the kids did great at the game, the weather was fine with the location of their seats. Nolan enjoyed cotton candy and Madelyn was able to take her daily nap in dad's arms. They had foam bats which they both loved and the reds were able to pull out the win last minute. They were down 4-6, but had a 3 run homer in the bottom of the 9th with two outs. Nolan got a little freaked out because people were jumping and cheering so loudly with the exciting end of the game win.

This is a tradition that Chris started with Nolan and his godfather/uncle Brian. When Madelyn was born her godmother/aunt started going. It is a tradition they do and I leave to them.
