So much fun

Nolan is starting to show signs that he is growing up. He is learning that he can get in and out of his crib, although he still stays in it at naptime and bedtime. However, we are guessing it will not be long before he wants to sleep in his big boy bed. He has been telling us when he needs a diaper change and is having a growing interest in his friend Lily's potty at Ms. Heidi's house. So Heidi loaned us a potty and we are slowing moving into the potty training phase. We bought big boy underwear, but he did not like the feel of them. Like I said, we are moving SLOW.

Madelyn is really reacting to our voices and actions. She especially likes to be entertained by Nolan. The picture of her sitting in his red chair is her laughing at Nolan jumping on his bed. She is also practicing sitting up, but she still needs support. At the end of the month we are going to try cereal, Mommy is waiting as long as possible for selfish reasons.

Nolan,
Good job on learning how to "escape" from your crib. When I come visit can I help you bake cookies?
Your buddy,
Logan

Madelyn,
You sure are lucky to have such an entertaining big brother. I can't believe how tall you are getting. You were so tiny when you came to visit us in July!

Hugs,
Logan
