Chris returned Friday evening from his business trip to Europe and then we headed to Pittsburgh, PA later Saturday morning. We met up with Jason, Andrea, Lindsey, Drew and Luke and the rest of the Poulson gang. We rode the incline up Mt. Washington, Nolan was a little nervous about getting in but did okay once we got moving. Madelyn had fallen asleep after having a cranky spell in the waiting line (it was hot, cannot blame her!) Then we headed over to the Stadium area to grab a few drinks with Jacob's buddies. Madelyn did pretty well in the Baby Bjorn and Nolan was a champ since he only slept for an hour in the car. We watched Craig Stammen pitch for the Washington Nationals against the Pittsburgh Pirates, unfortunately it was not his best outing. But we were still excited to be there to see him pitch in the MAJOR LEAGUEs- so cool! We left shortly after he was taken out of the game, both kids were exhausted. Madelyn passed out on our way to the car and Nolan fell asleep shortly after we got on the road. Then after Daddy drove for 30 minutes, Mommy took over and Daddy was out too! The most peace and quiet Mommy has had in a long time:)
